First tastes of the Acer-European Schoolnet Educational Netbook Pilot evaluation

By the end of the school year 2010-2011, 225 classes from six countries who participated in the Acer-European Schoolnet Educational Netbook Pilot have finished the evaluation. The evaluation focused on the use of netbooks both in school and outside of school activities gathering feedback from students, their parents and of course teachers. Just to give you a first taste of results, here come some quick examples.

The final evaluation of the Acer-European Schoolnet Educational Netbook Pilot will be published in November as part of the Eminent conference in Genova, in Italy.

The netbook-portal will continue to flourish even after the Pilot. With more than 900 teachers from all countries, the website has approved to be indispensable for sharing good practices in netbook pedagogies. Keep following the Netbook website and its activities, it will provide opportunities for being part of additional pilots (such as tablets experimentation), participating in webinars, workshops, seminars and conferences.
